Our Key Lime Pie boasts a smooth, lime custard filling in a crunchy graham-cracker-bottom pie crust. This traditionally sweet, southern dessert is dreamy, tangy bliss in a pie shell. A staff favorite, for sure!
At Farmhouse Pies we draw from our family Key Lime Pie recipe and add our own touches. For us, pie represents the simple pleasures in life: community, family, history, a welcoming place at the table. We can’t wait to share our pie with you! This pie has it all: crunchy, smooth, sweet, creamy and tangy! This is the ideal Spring, Summer, Fall, Holiday, or any day of the week, pie! And, if you peek into the refrigerator and eat the last slice, we won’t tell...
At Farmhouse Pies we strive to source local, in-season ingredients and buy Organic, sustainable produce when available. Without the use of additives or preservatives, your pie will be made with love by one of our fabulous bakers at the Farmhouse Pies Kitchen. We value our community and our world, so the stewardship of our planet plays an important role in our daily operations. Whether recycling, sourcing, composting or conserving, we serve your pie with a conscience.
STORE: Key Lime Pie should be refrigerated within 24 hours of purchase, but may be brought to room temperature for an hour prior to consuming if preferred. Your pie may be wrapped in plastic before refrigeration to help maintain freshness and should last up to 5 days.
FREEZE: Farmhouse Pies are made to order and meant for immediate consumption, rather than freezer storage. We cannot guarantee flavor or consistency once frozen. However, should you choose to freeze, tightly wrap the pie in plastic wrap or seal it in an airtight freezer-bag. Allow 24 hours for the pie to freeze completely. Frozen pies are best eaten within 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
