Description

Our Summer Crumble Pie is the perfect combination of a summer fruit pie and a crunchy topped crumble. This delicious pie contains a mix of various summer fruits which may include: local peaches and nectarines, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, marionberries, apples, pears, rhubarb and plums! We pair this with freshly grated lemon zest, a sprinkle of cinnamon, an oat crumble top, and bake it all in a traditional pie crust.

At Farmhouse Pies we draw from our old fashioned, family Summer Fruit Crumble Pie recipe, and add our own touches.  For us, pie represents the simple pleasures in life: community, family, history, a welcoming place at the table.  We can’t wait to share our pie with you!  Warm or cold, either way, it’s delicious.  Why not top it with whipped cream or savor it à la mode? And, if you peek into the refrigerator and eat the last slice, we won’t tell...

We strive to source local, in-season ingredients, and buy all-natural, Organic, sustainable produce when available.  Without the use of additives or preservatives, your pie will be made with love by one of our fabulous Farmhouse Pies Kitchen bakers.  We value our community and our world, so the stewardship of our planet plays an important role in our daily operations.  At Farmhouse Pies, whether recycling, sourcing, composting, or conserving, we serve your pie with a conscience.

REFRIGERATE: Your pie should be refrigerated if not eaten within 24 hours of purchase. Wrap in plastic before refrigeration to maintain freshness. Bring to room temperature before serving, and if desired, reheat in the oven at 250̊F on a baking sheet for 15 minutes. Leave the pie to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

FREEZE: Tightly wrap the pie in plastic wrap or seal pie in an airtight freezer bag. Allow 24 hours for the pie to freeze completely. Frozen pies are best eaten within 3 months. Thaw at room temperature before serving, and if desired, reheat.
