Our Lemon Chess Pie boasts a smooth, lemon-curd-like filling in our flaky all-butter bottom pie crust. 

At Farmhouse Pies we draw from our family Chess Pie recipe and added our own touches.  For us, pie represents the simple pleasures in life: community, family, history, a welcoming place at the table.  We can’t wait to share our pie with you!  We love this pie as-is, but you can always give it a sprinkle of powdered sugar or top it with whipped cream. This is the ideal Spring, Summer, Fall, Holiday, or any day of the week, pie! And, if you peek into the refrigerator and eat the last slice, we won’t tell.... 

STORE: Lemon Chess Pie should be refrigerated within 24 hours of purchase, but may be brought to room temperature for an hour prior to consuming if preferred. Your pie should be wrapped in plastic before refrigeration to maintain freshness and should last up to 5 days.

FREEZE: Farmhouse Pies are made to order and meant for immediate consumption, rather than freezer storage.  We cannot guarantee flavor or consistency once frozen.  However, should you choose to freeze, tightly wrap the pie in plastic wrap or seal it in an airtight freezer-bag. Allow 24 hours for the pie to freeze completely. Frozen pies are best eaten within 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
